Johnson County Dual Credit
We provide a JUMPSTART on post-secondary educational opportunities for Johnson County High School students by raising funds for dual credit scholarships.
The Johnson County Dual Credit JUMPSTART fund, a 501c3 nonprofit, exists because we believe that Johnson County high school students, whom choose to launch their college career early by taking dual credit courses, represent a good investment in the future success of our county, region, and state.
The fund awarded its first scholarships to students in the spring of 2019, and now, each year, high school students at each ISD in Johnson County are invited to apply for a dual credit scholarship to attend Hill College. The scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to all eligible students. The effect of this effort will only be limited by the amount of money that we are able to raise!
